June 9 - Since the day is Sunday we had a short service before we left the hotel.  Pastor talked about Solomon's prayer about the foreigners at the dedication of the temple .A long day today - we explored the Old City.  First we visited he Archeological excavations around the Temple Mount where we walked on the actual 1st century sidewalk where Jesus walked.

  On the top of the Temple Mount where the Muslims rule we viewed the Dome of the Rock.

  Among the Christian sites we visited were St Ann's Church, Pool of Bethesda,

Via Dolorosa,

 

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

and the pavement of the Antonia Fortress.

We ended the day in the Jewish Quarter by viewing the Golden Menorah

and praying at the Western Wall.
